Honey Bun Cake



Hello, welcome to “Cooking Melody”.
For me, I could not live without dessert, whatever it is a slice of cake, or a cup of ice cream. But I need dessert especially after dinner. So I would like to introduce my Honey Bun Cake.
Let’s see what we need. Umm… one box yellow cake mix oil, 8oz sour cream,which is my favorite, and we also need four eggs, a half cup of water, one cup brown sugar, one tablespoon cinnamon, two and a half cups of powder sugar, one table spoon vanilla and a half cup of milk.
Ok, first, we will mix cake, sour cream, oil, eggs and water together, then pour some butter in a greased pan and mix brown sugar and cinnamon sprinkle over it. And also put some butter over the mixture,too.
Now we can put the pan into the oven and bake it at 350 for about 30min.
When you see punch holes in cake, mix powder sugar, milk and vanilla and pour them over the cake. Remember it is also delicious when the cake is warm.

Broccoli Rice Casserole



Hello, welcome to “Cooking Melody”.
Broccoli is a kind of popular vegetable. Not only for its large amouts of nutrition, but also beacause of its unique taste. Today I’m going to teach you how to make a Broccoli Rice Casserole, which is a good choice if you are on diet. It is convenient to cook and healthy.
OK, we need one cup cooked white rice, one can cream of mushroom soup, 20 oz frozen broccoli, one to eight oz jar with cheese, one medium chopped onion and one stick of butter.
Now we have all the materials. Let’s start our job.
First, combine mushroom soup and cheeze within a large sauce pan over low to med heat.
Then saute chopped onion in melted stick of butter in frying pan and add to soup and cheese mixture once onion is clear.
Ok, next we could add frozen broccoli and cooked rice to the pan and mix them well.
The last step is to pour the mixture into lightly greased casserole dish and bake at 350 for 20min.
Now you can enjoy this special broccoli rice casserole.

I Love Cheese



Hello, welcome to “Cooking Melody”.
Today we are going to talk about cheese.
We all love cheese, double cheese burger, bacon sandwich with American cheese, cheese danish…... Oh, even mentioning these food makes me hungry! What about make a dish with cheese at home? Today I will teach you how to make a simple dish with cottage cheese.
Ok, let’s start. We need 2 lbs cottage cheese large or small curds, 8 red radishes, 6 green onions and little salt and pepper. That’s it! That’s all we need.
Then you should get them prepared: clean the radishes and onions and put the cottage cheese in a bigger bowl.
When you finished, our cheese dish has been half done. Next we need to chop up radishes and green onionsthen mixing them well with cottage cheese covered and refrigerate overnight. Therefore the flavor from the radishes and green onions will tranfer to the cottage cheese. You can also put some salt and pepper to taste if you like.

Snickers Cake

We usually can not resist the temptation of dessert. This time I will show you how to make a nice piece of chocolate cake at home. You can enjoy your weekend with sunshine and a delicious afternoon tea.



Ingredients:
                1 recipe German Chocolate Cake or 1 box Betty Croc=ker German chocolate cake mix.
                1 package Kraft caramels
                1/4 lb. butter or margarine (not diet)
                1/2 cup milk
                1 cup chocolate chips
                1-1/2 c. chopped peanuts (or pecans)
Procedure:
               l. Prepare cake mix as directed; scale out 1/2 of the cake mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2 pan. (Pan must
be liberally greased and floured.) Bake approxi-mately 25 minutes at 350 degrees or until cake springs back when touched. Remove cake and resetoven to 250 degrees.
              2. Melt caramels in saucepan with margarine and milk until caramels are just melted. BE CAREFUL NOT TO BURN. Stir well and pour this mixture overbaked portion of cake.
             3. Cover cake mixture with chopped nuts and chocolate chips, then pour remaining cake mixture
over top and shake down gently..
            4. Bake 20 minutes at 250 degrees, then increase heat to 350 degrees and bake another 10 minutes
until cake is done. Let cool overnight. Serve from pan.

PS: It can be drizzled with milk chocolate chocolate chips (about 1 cup) mixed with 1 tablespoon shorten-
ing. Hope you're not counting calories!

Meatballs

Today I will introduce another traditional Chinese dish called meatballs. It is not difficult to do and I am pretty sure that you will be crazy about it.




Ingredients:
                2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. corn flakes crumbs
1/3 c. parsley flakes
2 eggs
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 c. catsup
2 tbsp. minced onions
Sauce:
         1 can jellied cranberry sauce
1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
2 tbsp. dark brown sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Procedure:
                Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix meatball ingredients together.
Make small meatballs and fry in oil.
Blend sauce ingredients in a saucepan.
Heat and stir until melted.
Place meatballs in a baking dish.
Pour sauce over meatballs and bake in oven for 30 minutes.

Is it possible to lose weight within a happy mood? We often have to give up our favorite food if we want to lose weight, such as cupcakes, chocolates, which contain many calories. However is there any way for people to have a happy diet?

Fried Eggs with Tomato

Now, I will introduce you another dish made by tomatos. It is also simple to do. What's more, it is good for you to eat in the summer.




Ingredients:
                -8 eggs
                -4 tomatoes, sliced
                -3 tablespoons butter
                -Seasonings to taste
Procedure:
               1.Season the tomatoes.
               2.Put butter in the frying pan.
               3.Put on a hot stove. When the butter starts to foam, break eggs on top of tomatoes.
               4.Let cook slowly until the whites are set. Better results are obtained if the frying is done with 2 eggs at a time (individual portion is 2 eggs).

Tomato with Sugar

Today, I will introduce you how to make tomato with sugar. It is delicious and simple, so even a green hand can do it.



First, you should wash the tomatoes.
Second, you pour the boiling water on the tomatoes, thus you can peel off the skin of the tomatoes easily. Third, you chop the tomatoes and put in a bowl.
Fourth, you add some white sugar and mix them.
Last, you just waite for 15 minutes and enjoy yourself with your masterpiece。

Sweet and Sour Pork

We always eat beef. However it is not good for our stomachs to dagest. On the other hand, make some dishes by using pork is a good choice. This time I will share the recipe of sweet and sour pork to you, which the procedure is easy to follow and the results will be good.


Ingredients:
               1 kg Pork Belly
               1 tsp salt
               1 1/2 tbsp Brandy (optional)
               1 Egg
               1 tbsp Cornflour
               600ml Vegetable oil
               1 spring Onion
               100g pineapple
               1 Green pepper
Sauce :
         3 tbsp wine vinegar
         3 tbsp sugar
         1/2 tsp salt
         2 tbsp Tomato puree or sauce
         2 tbsp Orange juice
         1 tbsp Soy sauce
         1 tbsp Sesame oil
         1 tbsp Cornflour

Procedure:
               Mix the pork cubes with salt and Brandy and leave to marinade for fifteen minutes.
               Blend the beaten egg, cornflour and add the pork cubes until each cube is well coated.
               Mix the sauce ingredients together in a bowl.
               Heat the oil in a wok to 180 degree C or 350 degree F until a cube of bread browns in thirty seconds. Add the pork cubes and deep fry for three minutes, then remove and drain on paper towels. Heat the oil again until smoking, return the pork with the pineapple and fry it for two minutes or until they are golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
              Now heat a pan and add the sauce mix and heat till slightly thick.
              Mix the sauce with the meat and vegetable just before serving.

Cola Chicken Wings

Do you like cola? Have you ever thought about making a cola flavor dish? Today I will show you how make Cola Chicken Wings. You can enjoy the cola and dinner at the same time.


Ingredients:
                Chicken Wings, Coke, Onion, Ginger, Salt, Wine
Procedure:
                Wash chicken wings. Then put a little salt, cooking wine and marinated chicken wings     together for about one hour.Hot the pan with edible oil, stir fry the chicken wings until they become golden brown, add salt, then stir about two minutes, please note that the entire process of making coke chicken wings to be with the fire; Pour Coke into the pan with wings, if you prefer sweeter taste, you can add a little bit more Coke. Add a little soy sauce, please do not make it too salty because salt had been added before. Juice is about to close so dry, sprinkle spicy powder, green onion, parsley spread the bottom, remove and put the chicken wings to the bowl, and then the remaining sauce on the wings.

Yangzhou Fried Rice

This time I will show you how to make a tradional Chinese fried rice: Yangzhou Fried Rice.



Ingredients:
                Cooked rice, two eggs, ham sausage, cooked green beans, shiitake mushrooms, shallots, salad oil.
Proceduire:
               The salad oil into the pan heat the oil into the egg after the heat has fried a few times, to fry an egg into the chicken pieces and put them into a pan for a backup.
               Then put the cooked rice and oil together in a wok, stir fry them until the rice into a fried one, and be careful not to fry paste.
                Poured into the eggs, green beans, ham, mushrooms, green onions and stir-fry them together.               
                Based on personal taste, you can also rice topped with tomato sauce and so on above.
        

Lime Tree Mushrooms

Summer is coming, many people will lose their appetite when the weather is hot. Today I will show you how to make a delicious cold dish, which is good for health and can stimulate our appetite.


Ingredients
                Tree mushrooms, half a lemon, parsley, garlic, salt, sugar, vinegar and olive oil
Procedure: 
                Put tree mushrooms into a bowl of water for half an hour so that the mushrooms can be expanded.
                You can cut the parsley and garlic into small pieces at the same time.
                After the tree mushrooms were expanded, put them into a pot with boiled water over a slow fire for about two minutes and drain the water.
                Mix the tree mushrooms, parsley and garlic, salt, sugar,vinegar and little olive oil together. Then squeeze the lemon to let the lemon juice drop on the top of the mushrooms.
